About the event
Mairim Neves is a seasoned mechanical engineer and project manager with over 24 years of international experience. A passionate advocate for equity and inclusion in STEM, she is the founder of Mujeres Omega Foundation, a Canadian nonprofit empowering Hispanic women and girls in engineering. Mairim mentors through APEGA and leads workshops on psychological safety, emotional intelligence, and team dynamics. An immigrant, mother, and community builder, she brings a unique lens to conversations about leadership, identity, and impact. Her mission: help women thrive, connect, and lead in spaces where they’ve been historically underrepresented
